Joining NanoWriMo, here's what I'm going to write

And thus, I ended up joining NanoWriMo. Why? Because there is a story that has been floating in my mind for eight years and I intend to use this as motivation to finish it, or at least make something out of it. I'm not getting any younger (a strange phrase from a guy who's only 21), and if I let this wait anymore, I'm afraid I will outgrow this story, and all the efforts I've put in preparing it will be for naught.

What do I plan to write? Sorry, gotta keep this under wraps, let's just say that it's linked to this unfinished novel of mine and my Blogathon Story (go check out the August archives). It's a risky thing to do since I have a Shakespeare final assignment due next Monday, and also a take home exam for Popular Literature and Sci-Fi due on the 24th of November.

... oh., and there's also this Hindi short film I have to shoot this weekend.

Things are just getting bleaker and bleaker. But I'll try not to worry too much. I'm a fast writer, and I've gotten used to all these impromptu writing due to years of freeform RPing in forums. Therefore, I think I may have to get all of my other projects out of the way first before I can really concentrate solely on this one. The Blogathon story has 11 000 words, and it took me 12 hours to write, so I'm not entirely pessimistic with this. But it's quality I'm looking for, not quantity.

Guestblogger Justin will take over most of the blogging duties here, and there will still be webcomics coming out since those don't really take long. But I MAY need another guestblogger if Guestblogger Justin starts getting busy with preparing for his exams and such.

Goodbye, no use leading with our chins
This is where our story ends
Never lovers, ever friends

Goodbye, let our hearts call it a day
But before you walk away
I sincerely want to say

I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss, but more than this

I wish you love
And in july a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade

I wish you health
But more than wealth

I wish you love
My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be

So with my best
My very best
I set you free

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all when snowflakes fall

I wish you love
