Photos from my latest film shoot

Returned to Tokyo last night. Prior to that, I was, as usual, in a two-day film shoot on the 4th and 5th of September. (yes, I'm always shooting something in Malaysia just before I return to Tokyo, this sense of urgency adds more to my desperation, and desperation leads to more creativity). Assistant cinematographer Kenny Chua had posted a number of great stills of our epic production.

These are our three main actresses.

8-month-old Baby Hanae finally made her screen acting debut and displayed a stunningly phenomenal gift in acting. She wasn't just acting, she inhabited her character, becoming one, there was no line between reality and fiction, it was acting technique at its purest. I was flabbergasted.

 The shoot was pretty smooth, nervous breakdowns happened only sporadically.

 

Prior to the shoot, my sister grumbled "oh boy, will there be another shot of a sleeping woman like your previous films?"

My sister won't be disappointed with the latest. Each of the three protagonists had a shot of them sleeping, here's one of them...
